Quidam's View

Every Night is Hallow's Eve

by Colleen Barry
Written 10-29-05

The freaks come out and roam the streets.

They walk along their routine beats.

Tonight again, they are all drunk,

And stagger in when the sun has sunk.

The only difference for tonight

Is that they all are dressed for a fright.

Every night is Hallow’s Eve

Except the costumes take their leave.

So every night is Hallow’s Eve.

Don’t let their faces deceive…

It is the same as before,

They still stagger in dazed,

Through the door.
