Breathe

The quiet existence of a life well lead.

Excitements few, even fewer the moments of dread

From choices poorly thought.

The best life lessons:

Detailed and self-taught.

This quiet soul shared with none other.

Philosophy of broken hearts, so why should she bother?

Her time is great, but she feels it’s out

To experience her turn at love.

Eighteen years of the driest drought.

The right one not in her sight.

She thinks she has made life a sleight-of-hand,

Avoiding love by not living.

Get out more.

            Love,

                        Live.

                                    Breathe.
