Give Me a Guy

Give me guy who can hold me and soothe me, tell me I'm beautiful when no one else will...and mean it; a guy who can surprise me with the littlest things...like meeting me after work or leaving me a note on my windshield hoping “it ends your day with a smile.” Give me a guy who isn't afraid to hold hands or just lock pinkies but won't pressure me to kiss him. Give me a guy who realizes I'm still learning and won't push me to do things I'm not comfortable with. Give me a guy who will call when he says he will and keep true to what he promises but never promise the impossible or swear to something he has no control over. Give me a guy who gives great bear hugs and doesn’t mind me pestering him one night each week for a moonlight stroll to the lake and home; a guy who tells me what he’s thinking and lets me know if something’s up because he realizes that I can't read minds. Give me a guy who will ask me what I am thinking out of the blue because he truly is curious what’s going on in my head. Give me a guy who cherishes God and his girl and respects both of their desires. Give me a guy who likes me the way I am…’cause that’s who he gets, is me.
